This is where the whole story began.
My grandfather was born in Syria
(1903-1976). He grew up in a family
that mastered arts and music. He
started learning Qanoon - a string
oriental instrument - at an early age
and was able to master it when he was
19. Then he worked with many
local Syrian singers and musicians
until he got an offer in Java Radio
Station as the leader of the Oriental
band. At this point, he was
introduced to great musicians such as:
Moh'd Abdel Wahab, Fathieh
Ahmad, Moh'd Abdo Saleh...and
others. He worked there until he
moved to Jordan where he
established the first embroidery
factory...
Although my grandfather died
when I was very young, I was
really influenced by his great
recordings and compositions that
are being taught in most of the
Arab conservatories....I'll always
be grateful  to him.

My grand father with Mr. Abdo Saleh
My grand father composed
more than 100 oriental works
and they are performed in
many international venues.
